PROSECUTION OF JUVENILE CASES
The County Attorney’s office is also responsible for the prosecution of juvenile offenses and/or status offenses. These criminal proceedings are confidential in nature and not open to the general public.  Penalties vary depending on the charge and nature of the offense, criminal history and record.  Social background issues may also play a factor how each juvenile case is handled.
